Comets is a project born with the encounter between Andrea Iacopini and Claudia Pisani, in between different paths, each with their own fragments of dust scattered in time. The first one, full of gritty and biting sounds that reminds of overseas’ songwriting, solidified by more of a decade lived between San Francisco and Nashville; the second one, a crossroad between Italian songwriting and intimistic resonances typical of north European sounds.

 

Dust is a journey between cities, dark corners and bright trails of our existence; between the simplicity of day-to-day gestures and the complexity of dreams and sometimes, the unsettling truth of the opposite. Dust is a plot moUlded by two voices that dance together with a third one, yours.

Comets è un progetto nato dall’incontro tra Andrea Iacopini e Claudia Pisani, tra due strade diverse con i propri frammenti di polvere musicale depositati nel tempo. La prima caratterizzata da una sonorità graffiante, tipica del songwriting d’oltreoceano,
consolidata da un decennio vissuto tra Nashville e San Francisco; la seconda un incrocio tra la canzone d’autore italiana e risonanze intimistiche di stampo nord europeo.

Dust è un viaggio tra le città che ci abitano, tra gli angoli bui e le scìe luminose della nostra esistenza; tra la semplicità dei gesti quotidiani e la complessità dei sogni e a volte la spiazzante verità del contrario. Dust è un intreccio di due voci che danzano insieme a una terza, la vostra.
